Why the Six Pack Revolution?

So, I have decided to sign up for the Six Pack Revolution (SPR) which is a 75-day fitness transformation program

Whilst this type, of course, is not typically something that would tend to appeal to me, my wife signed up to six-pack for the January wave and achieved brilliant results.

As I do enjoy a structured program and am a bit of a crossroads with my own training, I thought I would try something a bit different and hopefully see some significant improvements in my general fitness as well as changes to my physique.

Six Pack Revolution, Fitness, Health

What is the Six Pack Revolution?

Effectively the Six Pack Revolution is a transformation program for mind, body and soul that has had tremendous success and gained additional public exposure after several British celebs completed the program and achieved impressive results

The program runs in 75-day “waves”, so members sign up for a specific course/wave , there are 3 tiers to choose from:

  • Signature = Fat loss / Body Transformation
  • Intensive – Tone up, lose a bit of body fat
  • Extreme – Sculpt physique, build muscle (this is the one i am signed up for!)

All 3 programs aim to be a “life-changing experience physically, mentally and emotionally

The course costs £140 which I think is actually a great value considering this includes:

  • Personal Coach
  • Training and Nutrition plans
  • Online coaching/support
  • Support Network via Facebook community group and Zoom calls with Scott Harrison

Workouts are set each week as “Challenges” and members are required to complete each challenge a specific number of times and post video evidence of their hard work on their group’s private Facebook group.

The workouts do require some basic equipment and this is clearly laid out before the start. Generally, I would think you’d be fine with a battle rope, a set of dumbbells and an exercise mat.

Pre Day 1

About a week before the start I received my meal and snack plans as well as some useful guides and planners.

There is a big focus on nutrition as you’d expect.

The guidance suggests 6 meals and snacks a day as well as a post-workout shake on training days.

To hit the meal/snack requirements, members are sent an extensive range of options and each comes with a full recipe and cooking instructions. There is also the option to include meal replacement shakes to help streamline the meal prep process.

For me, the nutrition program is the most powerful aspect of the course, the level of detail and volume of options is second to none in this space. There is even an SPR cookbook which my wife promptly purchased when her wave was over!

Meal Plan

Finally, before we start, the founder Scott Harrison runs a zoom call to explain more about the program and to address any concerns and questions. I was impressed with the simple no-nonsense approach as well as the time taken to cover areas such as mindset, dealing with friends and family, eating out, holidays, and other day-to-day challenges and social pressures

The bottom line is basically FOLLOW THE PROGRAM TO THE LETTER and you will achieve phenomenal results

My Six Pack Revolution Aims and Objectives

  • COMPLETE ALL WORKOUTS AND DO NOT MISS A MEAL
  • IMPROVE MY STRENGTH & FITNESS
  • GET INTO THE BEST PHYSICAL CONDITION OF MY LIFE

The last task before I receive my daily exercises and week 1 challenge is to submit an opening photo (see right)

Aside from being dead behind the eyes in this shot, for reference, I weighed in at around 82kg having lost a lot of muscle mass (~13kg) since covid hit and messed up my training and diet.

I am very keen to see how my physique changes over the next 75 days

I am excited to see where this journey takes me

Not sure about the facial expression here but ‘before’ photos are never supposed to look good anyway!
